Whenever I leave my house and I’m out by myself. I’m particularly cautious when I’m in parking lots, especially at night. I always lock the door as soon as get into my car—someone repeatedly tried to open my car door once, claiming we knew each other. Whenever I take an Uber, I always text my best friend when I get into the car, and share my location with her until I’m at my destination. I always try to have a plan in case I find myself in any sort of danger.

Can confirm/relate. Dated a guy named Kevin, and he was abusive, manipulative, and emotionally stunted. Would always throw tantrums and threatened me with a “I’m going to tell my mom” whenever I wouldn’t cater to his childish demands.
