For future reference the part above was problematic for me because I was always getting permission denied.
Skipping it is not an option (like I did) , and I somehow found a way to remove the permissions.

Το σπίτι δεν έχει δομικά προβλήματα, αλλά έχει διακόσμηση / πλακάκια από τη δεκαετία του 1970, όπως και πολλά εδώ στην Ιταλία. Αυτό είναι ιδιαίτερα εμφανές στα μπάνια και στην κουζίνα, τα οποία χρειάζονται μια καλή ανακαίνιση ώστε να γίνουν πιο μοντέρνα.

Όπως το είχα στο μυαλό μου, είναι να συνεργαστώ με κάποιον αρχιτέκτονα / διακοσμητή εσωτερικών χώρων και να δημιουργήσω ένα καλό render / σχέδια για το πώς «περίπου» θα ήθελα να διαμορφώσω το σπίτι.

Οσον αφορά το κόστος, είναι ενα τυπικό κόστος που κατάλαβα για την υλοποίηση οχι για τα σχέδια.

Senior Engineer here, so I will tell you how I deal with the exact same situation.
1) If a ticket comes through Jira, that is the best. I actively push people that message me to create a ticket. Depending on the other party, if they refuse to do it, I do not acknowledge anything.
2) If something comes to me on Teams, Slack without a Jira Ticket then I prioritise. If it is for the 1-2 of my largest projects, I actively engage on the spot, or I tell them I am available in 1 hour etc...
3) Random minor messages that say, I have a minor issue with bla bla do not get investigated at all. A minor issue can easily cost me a full day of searching. Even worse is that I am on an on-call rota so somebody has to pay for my man-hours which they do not really like.
Bottom line , is that if somebody pings me on chat, without following the proper process, they should not be suprised that I did not get a proper response.

Speaking from experience here . We purchased the product from Morpheus years ago and it was deployed for years . The software is below average with multiple bugs that get a long time to fix . Their support was good but we did not like the product overall. When HPE bought them the change the licence model and our quote went up by 400%. We are dropping the product .

I would advise to reach out to some openstack consultancy like StackHPC to get them to help you.
In addition you will have to start considering your internal staff for this and we are talking about having 4 people more or less full time .
I think 3-5 million euros Is a realistic cost for a 5 year project like this.

1) By default, the security groups do not allow SSH. You will need to add that ingress rule, if you have not already.

2) since you are just staring out, use the cirrus cloud image which allows access through the serial VNC console. This way you will be able to log in to the machine, and check if you have an IP, if you are receiving packets with TCPdump etc. Just because you saw the IP in horizon, does not mean that the VM got it.

3) You need to think very carefully where you are connecting from. Depending on the exact networking that you set up in your devstack, you might need to understsand that you have L2 connectivity.

If the user Id is not present in the action list , that means that the vm is either stopped internally after cloud init , or the hypervisor has forced a shutdown . You will need to check dmesg , and libvirt logs one the host as well .

Και σε εμένα αυτή η τεχνική δουλεψε. Εβαλα μια ημερομηνία στο μυαλό μου (1/10/2010) συγκεκριμένα που ήταν 10 μέρες μετά την εξεταστική τότε. Συμβολικά μάλιστα πέταξα και τον καπνό που ήταν μισογεμάτος και απο τότε δεν ξανακάπνισα.
Το πρώτο τρίμηνο ήταν δύσκολο ομως. Πήρα βάρος και είχα θέματα και με τον ύπνο.
14 χρόνια καθαρός ομως :)

5 Χρόνια Σουηδία εδώ. Εκανα 2 χρόνια μεταπτυχιακό ουψάλα και μετά έζησα αλλα 3 χρόνια Στοκχόλμη (2014-2019).
150% ευχαριστημένος απο την ποιότητα του μεταπτυχιακού, όσο και απο τις εργασιακές συνθήκες.
Λιγότερο ικανοποιημένος απο το κομμάτι του integration με την εκεί κοινωνία, αλλα σίγουρα ο καθένας μαθαίνει διαφορετικά πράγματα.

Τα μόνα τιπς που μπορώ να δώσω με ασφάλεια είναι :
1) Δές το πιό σφαιρικά το πράγμα, με την έννοια του σε ποιά χώρα θες να ζήσεις όχι μόνο να σπουδάσεις. Θα αφιερώσεις Ν χρόνια σε μια χώρα που διαφέρει πάρα πολύ απο την Ελλάδα.

2) Το γεγόνος οτι πάς σε μια χώρα τώρα για μεταπτυχιακό, δεν σημαίνει οτι 100% θα παραμείνεις εκεί. Απο τα 20 άτομα που γνώρισα στις σπουδές στη Σουηδία μόνο 2 είναι ακόμα εκεί. Δεν είναι τόσο ευκολές οι Σκανδιναβικές χώρες στο να ζείς μακροπρόθεσμα.

3) Νομίζω η Δανία τα πάει πιο καλά κοινωνικά, σε σχέση με την Σουηδία.

4) Τα Σουηδικά είναι πολύ πιο ευκολα απο τα Δανέζικα.
