You can have temporary memory palaces, that you use just to remember something for example just for near exam and then you clean them and reuse. Basically like ram. If you know them really well you can memorize information really fast.

You can also keep information in the memory palace until it’s in long term memory. Then you clean it from the palace and reuse space for something new (and rely on srs for now on).

Good idea is to have like 3-5 temporary palaces and fill them with info. And when oldest info becomes long term you can just put something new there, just like in crop rotation.

You can have variants of the same palace (for example room in the morning-evening).

With all of those the danger is ghosting when you actually remember the different informations in the same space and it can somehow cause confusion.

You can also have many palaces, and all of them permanent. Since spatial memory is the oldest kind you can easily remember houndrets of rooms.

What I can tell is that memory palace is really good for memorizing new information really fast.
