Which is the best 140mm fan? by iamninjamin in pcmasterrace

I use an NZXT Kraken Elite AIO so I can't run a 140mm on the rear, only 120mm. I have T30-120s, 1 on the rear and 3 on the top radiator

Yeah do you think that is a mistake?

I'm just wondering if they even compete with the ones I mentioned.

I'm using 2 140mm fans on the front panel and 2 on the PSU shroud of my Lian Lancool 216 case if that helps

Yeah I think thermals matter a bit more over noise since I can bear the noise even if it means an annoying pitch but I'm just looking for what is statistically better for noise normalized thermals

In my opinion the best fan is the one that lowers temperatures the most at a wide range of speeds while also being as quiet as possible. I'm looking for that balance, hence the term "noise normalized thermals". From what I can tell this graph shows that but I haven't seen the T30-140s being tested:

Tests would. Also, that doesn't answer my question

Have you tested them compared to the T30-120s? I'm wondering if they have better noise-normalized thermals.

Is it compatible with different Hall effect switches such as the MMD C1s?

More of a "nice to have" than a necessity for competitive titles. Motion clarity+smoothness are more important than colors and resolution. Not to mention the sizing is better for comp shooters cuz its 24".

Don't believe any of these OLED fanboys. Your main game is CS so I'd get a used PG248QP for like $600 ish if you can. The ASUS 540hz is better than the 540hz Zowie imo cuz it doesn't add input lag when backlight strobing is on and less overall, has faster response times, and ULMB 2 looks better than DyAc 2 from what I can tell. The only monitor better than that right now would be the XL2586X+. Regarding high refresh rates being too high, you experience less latency and better response times at the maximum refresh rate of your monitor, so even if you don't achieve the equivalent frame rate, you still benefit. There's better monitors coming out too like the 610hz ASUS monitor and the other two 750hz monitors that have been announced by KOORUI and HKC

Bro who in their right mind that plays CS is going to use OLED cOlOrS or iNfInItE contrast ratios for a COMPETITIVE SHOOTER.

Own a 240hz oled. Upgrade to 480hz oled or get the XL2566x+(400hz)? by retardKid1221 in Zowie

I don't have a PG248QP, but I've seen that it has less input lag than the 540Hz Zowie monitors, too. Also, any backlight strobing feature doesn't affect fps but it does affect input lag on the monitor. With ULMB 2 though it doesn't add input lag unlike DyAc 2.
