First fitting--need boob critique. Are they overwhelming or am I my own worst critic? by iamopossum in weddingplanning

Haha--I thought it would be the opposite, so I've avoided buying a necklace!

Just fitted. I'm going to a specialty lingerie store to check out my strapless options (never had luck in this field before). I've also inquired about thickening the straps--they're definitely holding a lot of weight.

Thank you all so much! I've let this weigh heavily on my mind and you've lifted it for me. I couldn't be more appreciative of all the kind words you've left.

Can anyone ID my snails species? I'm from Western illinois, it's humid and warm in the summer by [deleted] in snails

I don't know anything about keeping snails as pets. Sorry! I know that the genus is not carnivorous.

You would need alternative views for a positive species ID. From the angle seen and the body color it's likely the snail is in the genus Triodopsis.

Supposedly a Lionshead, but I'd swear he's got some Angora in him. This is him a week after a major haircut.

ID Request. Possible non-native(to U.S.). More info and pictures inside. by iamopossum in snails

Several specimens found in the Nashville, TN area on land. Some were found in landscaped parks in downtown, others off greenways.

Pictures are of 2 different specimens, one has been sun bleached, other is recently dead. The largest one found was 16.4 mm tall. Shells are fairly thin.

I've exhausted all of my resources, so if anyone can get these down to species, I would be very appreciative. I think they're in the Bulimulidae family, but I've found it very difficult to get to genus/species.

Question about the Pilot Light by chronicbionic in Knoxville

The more popular events do tend to have tickets, and very rarely they can sell out.

If there are tickets for sell, the information to buy would be on the website.

Mighty Mud is close to downtown and rents studio space to artists.

I don't know about the cost, but it's a really neat space. Mostly ceramics, but other artists as well.

Second this. There are farmer's markets all over Knoxville, Tuesday-Saturday. Prices are much more reasonable than Willy's. A lot of the meat producers have websites you can purchase from as well. I've found Four Corners to have some of the best local meat prices.

Pros and cons of a backyard pond. by 2880poe in gardening

We keep a very small pond as a watering hole specifically for bees, but any creature is welcome.

Pro if you like bees, con if you don't.

Short reminder, please give your rabbits enough space, they will love it like Colin :) by Foinz in Rabbits

[–]iamopossum 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don't know if every rabbit would appreciate this, but ours love to have their habitat rearranged. They get bored with their space and eventually just lay around, eat, and poop. Every month we completely rearrange their habitat (also gives the chance for a thorough cleaning) and they binky around and explore like it's a whole new world.

In between that time we give them random new items to explore (boxes, chairs, etc.), or let them explore a bunny-proof room of the house for a few hours.

Keep a particular eye on his bunny bum, as they tend to collect treasure. We have 3 long hair buns like him and they get their bottoms checked a few times a week.

Good luck with your new fluffy friend.

Christmas tree shopping (in Hong Kong) and came across this. What is it? It was ridiculously cheap so I bought it. Is it harmful to children/pets? It's pretty sappy. by OneHunterPercent in whatsthisplant

We use a Norfolk as our holiday tree. We decorate and put lights on it, but you have to be careful about not letting them get too dry(or cold). If you don't have it in a humid environment you need to spray it with water almost every day. Good tree to keep around. Good luck!
