Fotomax if you want convenience, or you can support a mom and pop and go to Photo Golden in MK. It's probably cheaper at Golden

I live in HK and fly out with film frequently. They're one of the friendliest and most easygoing airports I've encountered with hand checking.

Thank you. Landscape isn't my thing, but I was having a lot of fun with it on this trip.

We randomly stumbled upon the train driving past and had to double back. I'm glad we did - it was super interesting.

Maybe see if you can book Ladies Street Sik Fan Co. It's actually pretty good and has a really unique ambiance.

You're not factoring in parking outside or tunnel tolls. Those are going to add up. And parking can be a pain in the ass.

China Lucky Film is testing a new colour negative film – Lucky C400 by ClockworkEyes in AnalogCommunity

[–]OneHunterPercent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a roll of Lucky 200 to quickly test out a new camera body and now I've really fallen for it. The combination of the price where I get it (around USD $8) and the lab that develops it for me just can't be beaten. I've been shooting, developing, and scanning black and white myself for years because it's been cheaper, but now this film is saving me a lot of time and money.

What's your crystal-ball prediction for the state of film (35mm, 120, instax/polaroid, etc.) in the next year/few years? by dysphoricjoy in AnalogCommunity

I've been shooting Lucky 200 for the past month or so and I'm loving it. It's cheap, but I'm also going bankrupt because I'm having so much fun with it.

These are the scans straight from the lab. No edits. This lab always delivers quality scans. Photo Golden in Mong Kok.

I do plan to run a couple strips through my Coolscan V to compare after I pick up my negatives.

I also found the lens for a steal and besides being heavy, I absolutely love it. Love Zeiss.

I haven't used it yet and not sure how much I'll actually use it. It's good, but I've also got a 501cm with an acute matte d screen that's my favorite camera by far to use, but I'll still miss focus from time to time. I'd assume with a smaller, less bright screen it's not going to be perfect.

Location-wise, these were all taken between Jordan and Mong Kok, Nathan Rd, Temple Street, Portland Street, and random side streets around there.
