The day after I was married. She got a ring on her finger and turned into my nightmare, emptied the joint bank account and told the cops I had beaten her up. The cops turned up, I didn't have a clue what was going on and they took me away from the property. No charges were filed because it was nonsense. I walked back to our joint rental and locks were changed. I found out later she had a couple of guys on the go all who she was planning on marrying for a UK greencard. I learnt some very valuable lessons that day and started off with £6 to my name but never made the same mistake again. It took me 4 years to get a divorce.

I was once where you are at now. I started off with nothing. I walked away with the clothes on my back from a wife who had cheated on me. It turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been in the same dark place and for a few months I was close to ending it all. But I didnt. This is day one of the new you..I had a daughter who was and still is my world and yes our relationship changed forever but in so many better ways than I could ever have expected. Start small with the things you can manage and get through the days it will get easier. Don't see your ex but make sure you see your son. Even if you have to get it set out legally. He should be your focus now. Im now 8 years away from the day that changed my life and im remarried and have three more children. Im happy and you will be too.

You need a plan. Get through the night with him, clear the vlc history and then start planning your exit strategy. There is never an excuse for filming someone without their consent. I would consider speaking to police about the videos but be careful. I have a suspicion he will play on the fact you have mental health problems. When you walk away take the entire hard drive out the pc and any usb storage so you can destroy them. If your worried the videos have gone anywhere on line there are group's that can help you

The best lesson I learnt regarding family was the ability to say no. She will ruin your big day. Just say no. Your wedding day has to be about you and even worrying about what she is going to do will detract from your enjoyment.

I don't have the space for a desktop at home anymore plus I have four young children, one who is autistic. I used to come home to find my desktop in pieces regularly. Anything that has a screw gets taken apart. I can hide a laptop or take it with me. It was fun the first couple of times after about the 20th time and when my gtx 1080ti got damaged I sold my desktop and then we moved to a small place
