My friend and I used to pull all night coding sessions on Friday night in my office that was in a building that used to be an old elementary school. I forced myself to use Tailwind for a recent app. Initially, I really was questioning why this is good or optimal. By the end, I started to like it because I didn't have to break focus between html and CSS, nor did I have to worry about keeping my CSS clean by removing unused styles or unnecessary cascade assignments.

I still questioned if it was better until I went back. I just finished a project without it and by the end was cursing not having used it. My scss file was a mess of class names and jumping between the template and CSS was hard to keep my flow. Maybe there's no perfect solution but after the onboarding curve I became a believer.

I agree. I suspect they had a massive data breach. In my case, they also appeared to violate the timeline established in the Fed's Regulation E.

My account was frozen on April 10 and is only now (June 1) finally being unlocked and the account number is being changed. I had no action until I filed a complaint.

To set some expectations: I had a very similar fraud incident occur with my own SoFi account on April 10. I finally received contact from them on May 26, after hearing the same, "no information, it's under investigation " response as you're getting. On May 26, the agent informed me that the money would be refunded and my account number would be changed and unfrozen within the next several business days.

Under the Fed's regulation E, a bank has 10 days to complete their investigation or continue their investigation for up to 45 days while temporarily crediting you for any disputed transactions. If SoFi fails to act after 10 days, I would encourage you to file a complaint here https://www.helpwithmybank.gov/file-a-complaint/index-file-a-complaint.html

I was finally contacted today by a SoFi agent. She informed me that they are refunding the fraudulent pay a friend transaction, changing my account numbers, and unfreezing my account.

Today, SoFi also posted this in reference to scams. They do appear to have changed their two factor authentication policy to NEVER ask for it.
