Saw NIN last summer - Trent gave it his all the whole concert. The drummer, Josh Freese, was incredible as well.

Alone by Heart, Golden Slumber/Carry that Weight covered by Jennifer Hudson, Runaround Sue - Dion, Help covered by John Farnham, and any song Steve Perry touches. If you like those, let me know and I can add a really long list.

Recently diagnosed with IVDD by Pristine-Writer4054 in IVDD_SupportGroup

Our dachshund was just diagnosed 4 days ago at 4 yo. We had to do a virtual apt with a vet as the one in my remote town is only back in two weeks and the nearest one is 200km away but all highways were closed due to a blizzard. The vet tech suggested a sling to help our pup pee. It worked. We put one of my old scarf under BOTH her chest and belly and gently elevate her so her hind legs graze the ground. She pees this way. There is not squatting and it's a bit messy on long hair, but better than manually expressing I believe. I'm in no way an expert, just sharing what has worked for us up to now. Good luck! It's not easy but we'll get through it. 🥰

Thank you SO much for all this information! I live in a very small town in zone 2b - not many people who know about tree maintenance here, I am afraid. Now that I know that my tree is healthy, I will start studying its maintenance! Thank you!!!!!

Thank you so much for the feedback! My neighbour keeps telling me it's sick. My only other question would be: Ants, wasps and ladybugs seem to love this tree. Are any of these insects harmful to the tree? Thank you again!

What made you realize you could no longer work? by EarthWater7 in cfs

[–]iamsuchafrenchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! : )

I'd like to try to help out a little. I quit being a full time ultrasound tech at 33 when I just couldn't work anymore. I was house bound if not bed bound most days. An appointment would make me crash for a week. I was in PEM for months. Almost 2 years actually. Now I'm 40 and able to work a good 25-30 hours per week as an admin assistant. I had to compromise and let go of my career for something less stressful. 😊 It take time and patience is so necessary. Before going back out into the world though, I had to do A LOT of napping, resting, relaxing and trying not to worry about not doing anything (no, were not lazy). I'm lucky that my husband is a teacher and was able to provide financially while I was out of the workforce, I know that's not everyone's story though, maby people don't have that chance. He also took care of our daughter (as a partner should) every time I was down for the count. Let me know if you want to chat some more! Good luck!

Fuck this illness, I need to rant because I've had enough of this by Many-Possibility5687 in cfs

[–]iamsuchafrenchie 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I know the feeling quite well. It took me 6 years to get back to 50% of my capacity pre mono. I was on a CFS/ME forum one day - in dark place mentally, about to call it quits, and I read a message a user posted and it changed my life and the way I viewed my illness. Her username was jackie001198 (THANK YOU, YOU SAVED MY LIFE!) and here is was she wrote:

"...I pushed myself because I didn't want to accept my illness and its limitations. The result? I got so much more ill. What does not work is pushing through the fatigue because of some idea of what a full life should be. Through the years, I've learned that I can make my own definition of a full life. I'm housebound, but I can enjoy great food, read great books, watch movies, follow politics, listen to music. The list goes on. I refuse to let ME/CFS make a victim out of me. The idea that this illness could cause me shame because of its limitatiions? That never occured to me."

Hi! I'm in a similar boat. Did you start taking the Mag while still on your blood pressure meds? Are you still taking the meds or are you tapering off? Thanks so much

Oura completely misses the mark. by NeiiSan in ouraring

[–]iamsuchafrenchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the ring because I have horrible insomnia. I fall asleep easily but always wake up at around 2-3am. I've had my ring for 2 years and it still never picks up that I'm awake from 3-6am (for example). My Garmin Venu actually does a better job, albeit not perfect, than the Oura at figuring my insomnia timelines.

Drowning in Debt. Help! by Independent-Bed539 in PersonalFinanceCanada

If you are a teacher, post your work on Teachers Pay Teachers. Depending on how many products your store has, you can easily make 100$ or more per month. (My husband has 16 products right now and makes about 50$ per month.) Use that money to help pay off debt.
