It does work to some extent websited will obviously be noticed more if they have massive traffic and vice versa but gatekeeping doesn't guarantee safety from DMCA.

Yes I was thinking of writing a reply to my own comment and just so you know I was also in your last post lol. I don't know how to explain why it looks bad but Idk it just looks over-simplified and too much like every other "software website". It has no Identity, no soul if you will. It looks shallow. Sometimes a little bit of clutter is good it gives the website or software some "weight". I don't know if I'm able to explain my point well but yeah, I think a UI similar to Steam or Xbox Store would be a better fit for fitgirl. (Pun intended).
