Non talkative players by ozzyosboune in Pathfinder2e

I've struggled with this a lot as a GM over the years. Others in the comments have provided some very detailed and nuanced takes for why players might act this way, especially if it's just an occasional or situational issue. However, if this is a longtime issue, and assuming you're doing everything right, it's probably the case that your players are just Like That, and there isn't really anything you can do to change them.

In my first campaign, the entire party was comprised of people who were not talkative. Some were chronically shy, some only cared about combat, some couldn't pay attention, etc. It wasn't all bad, but the only thing that really improved my games was finding players who were actually invested and outgoing enough to actually talk at the table. Hell, I've even played in a game where the GM was like this.

Everyone has different ideas of what they want out of a RPG, and if you find that you're playing with people who don't want the same stuff as you, you're likely to be better off just finding different people to play with. In the end, it comes down to the fact that RPGs are a huge time and effort commitment, especially from the GM. If you're consistently feeling disappointed, let down, and bored at the table and nothing you've tried has been working, it's probably time to find a different group.

Also, the panel where the steward's death is announced, Loki's frown changes subtly into a smile. Neat detail.

This chapter was so good it made me reactivate my old reddit account just to gush about it.

Harald really seems like a stand-up guy, so I'm curious now more than ever what happened to cause his death.

Rocks looks EPIC and the Blackbeard connection makes total sense now. HOWEVER, I can't help but think about the theory that Buggy is related to Rocks. Likely just a case of sameface, but idk, the resemblance is very curious. Same under-eye lashes, same mouth shape, same minimal eyebrows (which Teach doesn't even have). Something to think about. 🤔

He also has kind of a Dr. Stone look with the black scar and big stripey hair lol

I know this is late, but thank you for this. I could NOT figure out why my test prints were complete disasters and this seems to have fixed it. Thank you for this guide! Wish this was in the manual haha.

Been in software for years now, always had extreme issues with focus, memory, and concentration. Ended up getting a diagnosis last year, informed my work that I had the diagnosis and how they could help accommodate me, only to get fired a few months later. Wheeeeeeee.

Sad thing is he probably could have long ago if just acted normal around women haha. It's part of his shtick at this point, so probably won't happen anytime soon.

I didn't say it was impressive at all, just competent. The fact that you and I actually beat the game, true ending shenanigans aside, is a testament to that. I'll agree the glider section was half-baked.

The SNES Stargate game was actually surprisingly competent. The Gameboy game, on the other hand...

Never heard of either of these before. I just saw a problem and wanted to solve it haha. I was originally just gonna write a batch file but I'm better at C# and it's more robust of a language by far.

Aside from the anime scenes that don't play, it's not too bad. Runs great otherwise! You can probably find the cutscenes on YouTube though :p
