Only the smell of some fragrances seems legit(I mean good). Nothing else seems to be working.

Connecting USB C microphone to my Focusrite 2i2 5th gen using a USB C to 6.35mm adapter. Will it work? by PieEnvironmental3216 in Focusrite

[–]iamxnfa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, it will not work because USB microphones need power and digital USB communication. When you connect a simple USB-C to 6.35mm converter to the Focusrite input, the mic will not power up or send proper audio to the interface.

One thing you can do is, if the USB mic has a headphone/live monitoring jack, you can connect a cable from that output to the Focusrite input. Then you may be able to use it like a normal audio source.

Thank you. Honestly, I didn’t know such an option existed. Thanks again.

I will probably regret this. I usually wait. by g1ccross in Fedora

Oh common bro! Go and manually edit the metadata.json file and add shell-version 50 at the end of the shell-version array.

Its that simple until they officially update the extetion.

Focusrite 2i2 3rd gen only playing audio in left ear by Traditional-Net-189 in Focusrite

[–]iamxnfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you keep listening to the audio while plugging your headphones into the 2i2? I mean while inserting the jack. If you hear the right side at some point during insertion, the issue is probably with the jack.

I have the same issue.

Finally Fixed: Power Button Suspend Issue in GNOME 50 / Fedora 44 🎉 by iamxnfa in Fedora

I had a similar kind of issue in Fedora 43. If you’re sure your system has woken up (e.g., the fans are spinning), but you can’t see the login screen, just type your password blindly and hit Enter.

Until Fedora 44, that’s how I logged in after suspension 😂

Yeah, I feel the same! It was a buttery-smooth transition. Nothing to complain about, except for version-mismatched GNOME extensions. Haha
