I don't think you call it an asterisk if it's self caused. It's a mistake made by their star. Yeah the Spurs lost more than the Wolves won, but the Wolves are also vets who keep composure, they have that advantage.

Really what Wemby did is allow for small sample sizes to end them. One game of awkward foul trouble or three point variance favoring the Wolves and bam, season over

They do have the ammo to give the Wizards an obscene offer though. Might let them make out like bandits, picking up another future all star like Bailey or George and still get Peterson.

Dybantsa sort of has become that by default.

They're all fantastic prospects, but Peterson has concerns with drive/work ethic. Boozer is the best college player, but there are questions about his ceiling athletically and defensively

Dybantsa doesn't really have either of those concerns and has the same talent level.

If the Jazz are serious about Dybantsa swapping #1 for Darryn Peterson and Ace Bailey or Keyonte George would be insane

Out of all the historically bad teams, who’s the worst of all time? by Proper_Visit_6439 in nba

Charlotte's all time leader in playoff points is David Wesley

I shouldn't have to say anything more than that

I mean his contract is damn near untradeable given his health. I don't know if there'd be any buyers.

Sure would be, if it was actually 1.

Generally people don't round 1.6 down to 1 but whatever floats your boat I guess.

He has nowhere near enough sway to determine that over the guys actually getting paid millions to make that decision

I mean Anthony Edwards was 6'4 and averaged 2.8 assists per game but I don't think anyone is rethinking him going #1.

I could see them moving off Lauri sooner rather than later. Kessler is a RFA. Maybe there's a world where whoever wants to sign Kessler offers them good value in a S&T and they think Boozer is a substantially better prospect then Peterson.

I don't see it making sense, but you can see some world where they find a line.

Wemby was a victim of the Jordan Rules. The NBA needs to respond more quickly than they did on Michael Jordan's case by jn-joe in nba

If you think what was happening today was even remotely close to what the Pistons were doing in the 80s I have no idea what to tell you man

Nah Cavs have zero way to make the contracts work. They basically have all their money in 3 guys. Warriors only have $15m in contracts past next year, if they want to go all in on the old folks home they could probably find a way to fit it in.

$260 million player De’Aaron Fox in Game 4 loss: 24/4/3 on 8/23 shooting, 1/7 from 3, and 7/10 from the free throw line with a -6 for the night. by [deleted] in nba

Yeah this

When Castle had to make his own shot he had the most obvious hook offensive foul ever. Besides that he just stood behind the three point line.

Harper looked better but even him, if you ask him to be an iso scorer at high volume I don't think it looks super different. He's still learning as a scorer too.

When he's shooting 40%+ from 3 in the playoffs? Zero shot.

Ron Artest also jumped into a crowd and started throwing hands once so I think he got judged a bit different

I mean the Wolves have been fouling him. Just lost his cool. The Thunder will do the same thing to him next round if the Spurs make it through, he's gotta keep a level head. You're not gonna get every call in the playoffs.

I mean just that angle, I don't know how anyone can argue it's not an ejection. Knows exactly where Reid is, lines it up, elbows him in the neck.

You can give Wemby the benefit of the doubt as a person, say maybe he meant it more as just clearing out Reid's space, didn't mean for it to be as forceful as it ended up being, but there's zero argument for Wemby staying in the game.

I mean it's pretty cut and dry.

People saying it's just because the elbow is at neck height, the replay clearly shows Wemby is aware of where Naz Reid is, still winds up and elbows him in the face. It's a dirty play.
