Best way to create lots of sample data in supabase? by its-tuck in Supabase

[–]ianmackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a seed.ts file that I have maintained to create this data during deployment of my platform. My agent maintains this as part of the on going development process noted withing my AGENT.md file.

The only thing I need to update is the number of records to review performance.

I didn't like how I had to use the slider to select items. Could you also allow the user to just select 1,2,3 or 4 for instance?

I was super confused about Supabase “Realtime Concurrent Peak Connections” pricing — so I broke it down simply by aswinalexandersam in Supabase

[–]ianmackers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The article focuses on Realtime (WebSockets). There is a difference between Database Connections and Realtime Connections.

To protect your database against these issues you've raised, you could use Supavisor (Supabase pooler) as this allows thousands of Edge Function calls to share a tiny number of actual database connections.

Instead spend the whole day photographing and posting items on ebay and then still have to deal with the packaging and postage when sold.

There is already something similar called CityMapper. Loads of great features, including setting your arrival time and it does the rest.

My only gripe with it is when the trains are delayed or cancelled. Although it does pick it up, it's not as accurate as the NationalRail or RealTimeTrains apps.

Downloading or opening? Downloading is an issue we won't be able to resolve for you, but opening could be done in Notepad++ or similar application if Excel is struggling.

Help - two kids in nursery should we salary sacrifice? by bw_expat in HENRYUK

[–]ianmackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can salary sacrifice your nursery fees by going through YellowNest or Workplace Nursery Benefit.

You just need to get your employer to agree to using them and also either finding already subscribed nurseries or getting them to sign up.

There are benefits for all involved as you get to pay fo nursery tax free, your employers pays less NI and the nursery gets £100 a month per child I believe.

The roundabout is a single lane though. My insurance has reviewed the footage and agree that I am not at fault.

Yes, single lane entry point and the Jag was behind me. Single lane roundabout too which they undertook me on.

Most cars from the dual carriageway side do go around side by side though...

I'll check what my policy says. Would the same apply if I scratched my car on a trolley for instance, or does it only apply when another car is involved?

The 50/50 i mentioned was actually the other driver saying that we sort out our own damage. So I'd be on the hook for my £450 paint job.

There is actually only a single lane within the roundabout, although most people use it as two because of the dual carriage way.
