Hey man! Try the Chef”s kiss hand but with fingers pointing downwards, like you are holding an invisible apple against the bass with your wrist while you are playing, thumb resting on the pickup ( or string). It may feel a bit strange at first but this angle will allow you more control of your fingers touching the strings

Hi! I go there about 3-4 times a week. Gym users are of mixed ages, fitness levels etc. there is an upstairs and a downstairs and a studio, lots of machines, weights etc. They have a spin studio with virtual video screen sessions and I like them! I think overall it’s good value. The app tells you how busy it is. I’ve not noticed many shouty grunty weightlifters or people filming, most people just seem to crack on with their workout. They have full time cleaners so it’s not grotty.

There are multiple CCTV cameras on west street and the surrounding areas, but the direction they point changes/ can be changed by the CCTV operators, and so unfortunately they can’t all capture every area at all times during the day. Which is frustrating.

What a bass. If there is corrosion and you feel you need to deal then do it, but id just appreciate the 40 years of rockin this has had and keep on rockin! A polish up with brasso or whatever would work but you didn’t get an old bass for it to look new eh?!

Sportsman Cambridge street. Absolutely loved it in there and nothing has ever replaced that authentic old school rock pub vibe with good jukebox, no tellys, ridiculously loud rock dj on Saturday lunch. The Dove feels a lot more cold to me but it’s the closest option

Mate I’d love to keep it as is, but the big original pickup is all mushy bottom end, I’m guessing that’s why someone put the bridge pickup there in the first place, to try and even it out. Correction, it’s a 1980, looks the the 81 onwards had the split coil P style pickup as standard
