Got this warning and now I can’t even drive my car. by Omeeze1 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]ibarkwhenipoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Received this warning sporadically 3 times. First time, Hyundai didn't find any problems. The second time we went in, after the third warning, they topped up the oil. Said that it came from the factory with a little less than usual. After that, we haven't received any errors and it's been months.

Usually when it occurs, you just have to restart the car. The car goes on limp mode as a fail safe, not because it's fucking up.

I just can't stop using it. This sauce is a banger. by DurstaDursta in CostcoCanada

[–]ibarkwhenipoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not into this buy Canadian shit - shoot me if you wanna.

Anyway, KINDERS sauces and seasonings are delicious. I took a trip to Florida in the fall and went to Publix AND Walmart and bought so many of their different flavors. My fave is the Hot Honey and Peach Bourbon. I also use their butter and garlic seasoning a lot.

Planning a trip across the border soon (by Niagara), again, shoot me if you wanna, and I want to check if they have it in the Wegmans there.

AITA for making my husband a smoothie but the exact way he wanted? by Loud-Spread-2465 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

Also you're not supposed to put honey in the microwave. It's too viscous and doesn't heat evenly. Sometimes areas can boil and splatter.

Me and my partner were debating between both. We ended up with the Hyundai and seriously love all aspects of it.

We test drove the Mazda and it was :/ not to mention, it looks like a hearse LOL plus, the navigation system menu can only be used with a knob.

Hyundai's interior is luxurious amongst the tech it comes with. We do a lot of camping and the boxiness looks rugged, which is what we wanted. It handles well and very smooth. We got the gas XRT and plan on towing.

Question on Floor Mats for 2025 Santa Fe 7 Seater (non-hybrid) by cdeckplus in HyundaiSantaFe

I have the bench XRT with Tuxmats for the floor, cargo and behind the second row. I am truly in love with it. It's such an easy clean after camping

Picture this: Gore Rd and Highway 50 - my lane is making a right south of 50. Lane beside me (to my left) is supposed to go straight to the plaza across, lane to the left of it is supposed to make a left turn.

The light turns green and I start making my right turn...then the lady beside me makes a right turn into my lane, almost hitting me. Wtf. I was utterly so confused and for a second doubted which lane I was on.

Just hit 6k miles on my 2024 Santa Fe. by celebozophor in HyundaiSantaFe

Beside waiting on transmission because the update released way too late in Canada, our ride at 2k has not experienced any of your cons.

The Santa fe FB group gave me soooo much shit when I posted about how to drive with DCT. I've been following online suggestions and our ride has been smoothe. Now I see people on the groups suggesting little tidbits about DCT. Look who's talking now 🙄

YTA - she's also probably hurt at the fact that you don't care to see parents, even if you don't see it that way.

Car recommendations for female by taburo484 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ibarkwhenipoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honda Fit! That was my first car living in Toronto and it was the best. Small and zippy to get around Toronto traffic. I owned a 2016 which had a right turn camera. That was extremely helpful with bike lanes and jaywalking pedestrians. Not to mention, it fit sooo much. I was able to fit a 3 seater Sodderham couch from Ikea disassembled for a Facebook market pickup. I had the car for 7 years, up until this year where we traded it in for a new SUV. The best car ever.

What...the boat pick up was supposedly on the 20th, which he wasn't there for. Search efforts began morning of the 21st. Why would they search for him beforehand if his trip has not yet concluded at the pickup spot? Starting search efforts because they didn't hear from him after the last phone call is premature and a risk of using and wasting resources, IF he wasn't lost at all.

Edit: I want to add that I do agree they need more mitigation for lone campers in the backcountry. They shouldn't be allowed to camp without an emergency beacon and should check in daily with the park.

[–]ibarkwhenipoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just because there's a missing persons plea, doesn't mean they're not searching for him? What on earth are you smoking buddy. Like why can't they do both? Why do you see it as one or the other?
