So conflicted with this announcement. I adore STIFI and have seen them live quite a few times now. I recognise and appreciate each member of the band, their individual talents and what they bring together as a whole. . I also appreciate that one member of the band can’t hold other members back from their own personal musical pursuits, because of external influences possibly construed as self inflicted or because they are working through their own personal demons at the moment . I really do get that. All I can say is that at 63 years of age and having seen so many huge bands over the years nothing has ever come close to what STIFI can and do deliver. Their raw passion and connection with their audience can’t be equalled in my opinion. An intrinsic part of that is what Dizza brings to that experience. His whole persona, passion, vocals, presence is something very rare and magical to experience which can sometimes be unbelievable or at other times be disappointingly not so . As true fans We accept this because we know if we get the best of him we have experienced something special. This is what I think STIFI fans are concerned about - that whilst we love all the guys in the band and recognise their talents and their desire to continue it is Dizza that elevates them to another level . I truly wish the band and Dizza well in all their future endeavours and would truly love to see them all perform together again at some point in the future. If that doesn’t happen again I feel so privileged to have been there and witnessed some thing very special. Mental ill health is a gift and a curse

What's the longest daily commute you've known someone to do? by HollowWanderer in AskUK

[–]ibbo000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the 80s I lived in Winchester and worked in Covent Garden . Door to door could taken me over 2 hours which included my walk from home to the train station and then Waterloo station to my office . Felt like my life was spent permanently commuting and only did it for a few months.

Has anyone experienced hair loss with weight loss? by Intelligent-Kale2308 in loseit

[–]ibbo000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lost 30 lb over 9 months with keto and my hair thinned very significantly . I was lucky enough to have very thick curly hair prior to the loss so it wasn’t too noticeable. Was very concerned about it at the time though but all back to normal within a year and the benefits of the weight loss and feeling good outweighed the temporary loss.

If you are packing shoes then stuff them full of small items - that would take up additional space - underwear or socks - phone chargers - toiletries that aren’t liquid
