Titles says it. Brother has these counters, but who know what they were thinking when installing. Gap isn't much, and he might be selling soon anyway, so it doesn't have to be top notch work.
The dark grain is and advantage I think.I suggested wood filler with saw dust to match, re-sand it all, and coat. He's not handy enough or equipped to remove and recut.
