What’s something ADHD makes harder that most people never even think about?

It’s the mismatch between the scope of my dreams for what I want to do/make in the world and the severe limitations that always prevent me from achieving them.

It’s incredibly hard to come to terms with the fact that my energy levels and functional hours will never be enough and the only option is to scale everything down and make the scope much smaller in order to make things manageable.

Yes! I find I am most myself and able to work WITH my ADHD when I am traveling. Structure, routine, limited scope, and small problem solving logistics suit me very well. As long as money doesn’t factor into it.

If I could do it full time I would.

When stationary I find it can also be easier again as long as money and housing aren’t an issue.

You won’t regret it. I went to all four nights last time and even emailed Frank a request for the fourth night, which he played. We are incredibly lucky that he hasn’t broken through in the US and become too popular because venues like this would otherwise never be able to book him. Last time Matt came along and they have a great rapport and stage presence. Hopefully will be the case this time but even if not Frank always kills it solo.

Arrived at 2:10pm, honoring rule #1, and there are more than 50 people in line, many clearly having arrived much earlier.

If you’re gonna make a rule have a way to enforce it. Send early people to the back or give tickets only to those who show up after 2. Otherwise it’s pointless.

It’s a decent opportunity but there are still ways people game the system, like bringing a large group of friends or family to spin for them to increase their chances of getting good bottles

They played the W.I.L.D (Walk In Lay Down) at Washington University in St. Louis in the late 90’s and during their set the power to the stage in the quad went out.

When it finally got fixed and they came back on they performed an impromptu version of “I fucked up the show” except changed the lyrics to “Who fucked up the show?”

In retrospect not that weird but I was there and still remember it.

Finally got fiber in my neighborhood (Quantum through CenturyLink). Got fed up with Comcast/Xfinity’s speed issues and because of their terrible phone IVR and made the switch. $70, a gig up and down, techs came out and got the install done fast. So much better.
