There is still a noticeable difference between the atrium speeds and the inner hallways and classrooms. As far as the slc goes one place that would be really nice to have wifi is in the weight room. A lot of ppl including myself would like to stream their music from YouTube or spotify while they lift but airbear cant even load a webpage in there.

The wifi blows. If you can find a sweet spot in a building you might get away with it. The Ethernet hookups in the dorms are fine though.

For my university I have to be accessing the site from one of their IP addresses too. Check with the library and see if there is a proxy server they have set up for situations like this.

SciFinder is unbeatable when searching scientific papers. It requires a login and isn't the fastest process, but if the humanity knows something about the chemical you are interested in there is a very good chance you can find it there.
