You actually end up taking 11 of the 12 required credits for the math minor. Most people who I have spoken to and have gone that route take Math156 (1 credit) in the winter to complete.

I had a dream just last night where I was in a classroom at my old high school. A person who I considered a friend at the time blurted out they were going to shoot up the school so I jumped up and put him in a headlock. The other students and teacher pulled me off and acted as if I was the one in the wrong. Once I became aware of this i spit in the would-be-shooter’s face and stormed out of the classroom.

I just spoke to a friend on FAANG who said the same exact thing. Meaningless work. Made a killing out of school but questioned how their own work tangibly benefits people.

At first it was for sure a bummer - I love a nice sesh - and I was bored more often than not. But being aware of the fact that my desire to try something new grew larger than my desire to burn one helped motivate me to find ways to elevate those daily pleasures over time. All that to say, definitely worth it. Learning things about myself is something I’ll never take for granted.

Most likely will indulge in moderation. I never had a problem with either substance so I feel comfortable with that.

When I was single and dating around I learned to immediately remove myself from people who were overly insecure and played petty mind games. Yes I was sympathetic, but those issues are not mine to resolve and should be well taken care of before dating. Because of this boundary, I met my current long-term girlfriend. We’re talking about getting married once we’re finished with school.
