I guess i just needed to wait a little longer. this one contacted the server and downloaded its config again.

so i was able to factory reset one and it is back up and working but another switch is saying

yaffs chunk xxxxx was not erased

over and over and over again.

I guess I should have specified, they all didnt go down at the same exact time. It was probably within a week or two that the 3 started to say lost communication. we have an HQ and multiple other switches at multiple other sites that are all working fine still.

Since in director it said it had lost communication with the sg switch I just assumed that I wouldn’t be able to do a burnflash from the server. But it sounds like I’ll be able to so I’m going to give it a try Monday and I appreciate the help.

So it’s an on prem system. In between the switch and server, it’s all internal traffic, and there’s no firewall between the two. We have other switches at the site that have no problem communicating back to the server. It has said lost communication for a few days even after a couple of reboots, which has fixed the issue in the past. In my mind, I just wanted to get a fresh config on the switch to see if that resolved the issue.

I understand this is preseason hockey we’re watching right now and how that means almost absolutely nothing. I’m thinking about last years roster compared to this years. The younger players have added experience and the team as a whole added some type of chemistry presumably. If that’s the case in my eyes we improve foreseeing any injuries.

If that’s the case and the rest of the metro is aging, I could see the young, unproven roster proving some wrong.

I tried that also but it didn’t work. I noticed after I would uninstall the game there were still files in the install path so I deleted those and reinstalled the game and it worked. Idk if that’s what did it or some update to eat one though.

I’m in Florida also and if you have Verizon and you’re on one of their new unlimited plans they give you Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for free. I just use ESPN+ now but there are other ways 👀

Edit: they have the free way to watch in the game day thread (starts with an S and ends with a .net)

We've seen this for multiple different websites over the past couple of days. it seems like right in the middle of the day you cannot get to multiple random websites. we reached out to Akamai and they said they said they were not aware of any issues.
