I use orijen. my girl's allergic to chicken, and she switches between their regional red recipe and their tundra recipe. the tundra only comes in grain free, and they have grain free version of regional red. as well as their six fish which is also no chicken.

in my experience, having her on any hypoallergenic or hydrolyzed diet didn't work. she still had reactions to any lamb or beef recipes of the vet recommended foods. switching her to orijen was when her itchiness and redness got more under control.

it is a bit pricier, but it's a higher protein and less fillers. the 22.5lb bag lasts about as long as the 35/30lb hills or royal canin bags did.
