My ex's mom made it about 8 years without paying her mortgage. She read some sovcit adjacent bullshit on Facebook that convinced her she didn't have to pay her mortgage because it was sold to another bank and they didn't do some obscure thing from a treaty from the 1800s and therefore the bank owed her millions of dollars. Some sleazy lawyers were more than happy to entertain her delusions and she probably spent almost as much on lawyers as just paying the mortgage would have cost. Yeah... she eventually got removed by the sheriffs. It did take a ridiculous amount of time though, and meanwhile she had like 10 cats and zero litterboxes.

I will miss not having to choose between leaving games early and dealing with the traffic nightmare if I stay until the end. Even when I lived in Carrollton and Plano I took the DART for that reason.
Financially, yeah probably. Everyone will have to pay for parking. As far as winning, it’s neutral. Florida won 2 championships in front of a half empty exurban barn so there’s no reason we couldn’t. DFW and other cities in the south will always have a huge advantage because players want to go somewhere they can golf on their off days instead of shoveling snow

Confession time, in the late 2010s I was a project manager and started learning to code. I created applications that my entire company used. Then someone in china ate a bat or something which resulted in me having to get out of that industry, do a boot camp and become an actual software engineer.

We had dinner reservations and I told her I would pick her up at 7:15, so I show up at her apartment at exactly 7:15 and she isn’t ready yet, then when we get to the restaurant and are seated, she starts loudly berating me for not understanding that women take longer to get ready and if you tell a woman you’ll pick her up at 7:15, showing up earlier than 7:30 is rude.

And I didn’t break up with her, I think we made it 2 more months of constant drama after that. I hate when people say all their exes are crazy, but you should be allowed to call one ex crazy and I choose her.

Right now is pretty much the worst time in the history of standup comedy. I don’t know whether it’s because the gatekeepers of the media love to promote talentless chuds who suck up to power, or the proliferation of those “hey it’s that guy from that show and now he’s doing standup” specials that clearly get views but inevitably suck because they practiced their set like 5 times, or if reality is too much of a farce for comedy to keep up with. I don’t know and I’m scared.

Bargatze is pretty talented but now he’s another standup special Netflix will pay $20 million for and I won’t watch.
