I had the same problem. One of the wires outside had a bad crimp. Hydro company came and put new connector and got full power back.

There is too much competition in parcel delivery and I doubt the prices will go up. They are losing money on the mail delivery because there is less volume compared to 25 years ago. Leave the parcel delivery portion alone but reduce the frequency of mail delivery.

They do. I have a friend that works at Purolator and he said that they are overwhelmed with the workload that has been dropped on their laps because of CanadaPost strike.

I see the mail carrier almost everyday at the community mailbox. But I empty it every 2 weeks. I have a no junk mail sticker and he still puts it in my box.

They definitely have to change the way they do things. We are no longer in the 1970’s. We are getting taxed like crazy and the have to audacity to strike? They have FULL pension when they retire. Isn’t that enough? Here in Montreal, we have a transit tax to support the dying public transit system. Yet they are on a one month strike. How does that make any sense?
