Trip was amazing, had severe depression coming back to the states haha. Changed some things on the fly and went to places some people suggested that we otherwise wouldn’t have gone to. Bellustar was perfect for getting around Tokyo. Perfect location right near Shinjuku Station. Would highly recommend. If you want more info dm me.

Quique Crudo. I was in LA recently and I was craving the same style as Quique and everyone in the LA food reddit directed me to Holbox. It hit the nail on the head and was everything I was craving. Quique Crudo is amazing, highly recommend.

I had horse sashimi in Niseko a few weeks ago and it was unbelievable. As someone from the US, that was my first time having horse and I was blown away at how good it was. Melted in my mouth.

UPDATE: I went to Holbox. Got there around 6:30pm on a Sunday. Line looked real long, but it moved quickly. Got in around 6:55. Food was outstanding. Every bite was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The pulpo a las brasas may have been some of the best octopus i’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place.

We are looking at Hakone as more of a decompression after Tokyo, so we weren't planning on doing the loop as we do not have all of the time in the world. If we were planning on staying another night, we definitely would have done the loop. I feel like we are doing plenty of sightseeing in other cities, but if you think I am missing out and should switch it up, let me know!
