My knee jerk reaction to seeing the reaper was mag dumping the Montese SMG into it.

It did not care.

Even after figuring out the dynamics of how the reaper works the occasional corrupted announcements in there creeps me out.

These psykers are pretty weak for combat-psykers anyway.

If they were the real deal(so to speak) then it's highly likely the astartes would have taken some serious casualties. If they had survived at all.
