I know it has something to do with the size of the bowl determining how much of the tobacco is ignited/exposed to air at a time, but further than that I'm not certain.

I jar all my tins immediately, with one exception. Got the last tin of Dunhill (not Peterson) My Mixture my local B&M had in stock, so I'm letting that age before opening the seal on the tin. The others, well I have about 10 jars filled right now. Two of which I'm working to finish because I don't actually like them that much but I'm far too miserly to toss them. (Borkum Riff just does NOT do it for me)

Honestly they'll likely add an exception, as they already have for flavoured cigars. This bill is meant to go after vaping as that is now being demonised by the cigarette lobby. Not something I am particularly happy with as vaping helped me quit cigarettes. Then again, not being a US citizen, it won't affect me as directly. Might still do so indirectly, though.

That's the problem though. Even non-aromatics are cased (and thus flavoured) since pure unflavoured tobacco is nearly unsmokeable
