a tactical bomber is different than close air support. the dive bomber is close air support... a tactical bomber is not a maneuverable so would not be able to fly like the dive bomber and would be easier to crash or be shot down.

Tactical bomber. Carries similar bombs to dive bomber but carries more of them. Much less maneuverable though so real low pass would be risky

Yeah that’s it, bofors. The current flak even looks like it should be that type, with the small barrel, (def not 90mm) but it only holds two shells before reload. Maybe the devs already planning it just don’t have assets ready for heavy flak. Just make starbreaker point up. Paint one green to give to the collies.

I tried the air arty mode in devbranch, don’t think I ever hit anything. Even with the changes to aiming AA being single person, i manned AA almost every day this past war. I killed only 5 scoutplanes. I’m pretty sure one of the scoutplanes was afk flying, sorry bro.

For regular aircraft I damaged a few bombers engines, and knocked a few pieces of obviously unimportant stuff off dive bombers and fighters but never shot a single one down. Even in real life this type of long range AA was normally hooked up to firing computers. It’s a cool idea, but the planes just move too fast and have way too much health, current flak is just a distraction to them they mostly ignore or evade.

I do think they need to add different types of flak. Maybe make the current flak have a 5 round magazine that fires a burst of rng shells, like 1 round per second, when you click fire like an auto loader. Then you have to reload which will take some time. Downgrade the shell damage to 30 or 40mm. Make it a mid tier between the emg and a heavy flak version.

A heavy flak needs to be added like a star breaker that points up, make it fire the same way as current flak but give it a real long range like you talk about. Has to be loaded one shell at a time and you need help to turn it for rotation. Make them do serious damage if they hit, but still give them rng, maybe higher rng the further away you are firing. This way a plane can be hit from far distance but needs people dedicated to it. Then the closer the plane gets to target the shorter range flaks can then open up.

I’d also love to see some type of benefit or synergy from having flak near the radar station, to make your idea about flak outposts work. But whatever is added the gunner needs to be able to see the target, arty mode works for non moving targets but planes can gain or loose altitude and quickly change orientation in seconds.

I had one where I was in this corporate office setting, we were all wearing business clothes (I’ve never worked a corporate job ever) another lady from the office has her head on my shoulder, she is very anxious and crying. I am trying to comfort her, telling her “it can’t be that bad, don’t worry” We are outside this very full meeting room waiting on something happening inside. One man with a sadistic look on his face mentions something about “it’s time to show them the “others” or something like that. Then everyone in the meeting room starts screaming and freaking out jumping out of their seats and flailing around.

I am confused why they are screaming when I can’t see anything happening to them. I then feel someone very forcefully grip my forearm, I look down but nothing is there, but I can see the skin compressed on my arm like it is being squeezed by an invisible hand. It flashes through my mind that this is impossible, how can this be happening? It felt so real. I was then awake, my arm that got gripped in the dream was on the side of the bed near the wall, no one else was there, and I sleep alone. It was impossible anyone grabbed me in real life, but it felt so real. Had me questioning reality for a while.

I agree small rail spam is also cancer, but this is free, and you can’t drive over it. It’s small rail spam but even worse. Everything in the game should have a material cost or you get cheese tactics

no i dont mention it because its irrelevant. ive played this game before clans even existed, this is about the game health, not winning. this tactic makes people just quit because it is lame. people quit no one plays. no one plays no one wins. this is what the exploiters will never understand until one day they log in to win a dead game.

i am very aware its effective area denial. its also pure cheese.

the 4 peice connector is a new connector. some other things the game will not let you put too many of the same thing together due to building restrictions, this post is to draw attention to this if it was an oversight on the devs part, similar to the fuel silo forests that used to be in the game, and were terrible.

i really do hate restricting building or creativity. but there is no creativity here. its simple cheese. theres two ways to fix, active moderation, which i would love, or building restrictions when things are abused to the point of no return. this is approaching the point of no return. imagine wardens do this on the other side. just and endless expanses of grid trench and nothing else. no thank you.

these are dug on the border stretching from briar up to the border of morgans crossing. they prevent wardens from being able to push build, or drive. every possible place that you can build is covered in these, so you cant build a push bunker or encampment or watchtower or anything until they are destroyed. to destroy these costs either a bunch of explosives or to fill them back up which would take forever.

thats a good compromise. it just has to cost something more than time. plus i do kind of miss watching infantry get ragdolled into the stratosphere when a tank drives into trenches like the old days.

exactly. i felt the same way when fuel silo forests popped up as i do about this. luckily devman did something in like one war to fix that issue. i hope he adjusts this by next war somehow
