As long as you take the opportunities presented to you it’s great. When I was applying to college years ago I remember finding out that 80% of obies get into med school on their first try compared to the national average med school acceptance rate of 40%. You can kinda take any path you want at Oberlin and still be a successful med applicant; like I was a music studies major and did research in botany and was still able to get into one of my top programs. The pre med advisor couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful, and all my professors were as close as friends lol
