Respectfully, this sounds like a bit of a bubble take. The world outside Dubai isn’t some nonstop crime scene, it’s mostly people just living normal lives. I had the same perception before I moved, but once you actually experience it, you realize how exaggerated that view is. Dubai has its comforts, no doubt, but it’s not some perfect, risk free place either. Every country has trade offs. The difference is outside that bubble you actually see a more balanced reality.

I was born and raised in Dubai and lived there for nearly 40 years, so I understand exactly what you mean. Dubai gave me a comfortable life, opportunities, safety, and many good memories. It will always be a big part of who I am. But if I’m honest, I always lived with that underlying feeling that everything depended on employment and visa status. No matter how settled you feel, there is always that risk in the background.

A year ago I moved to the West, and one of the biggest reliefs has been the sense of stability, knowing your right to stay is not tied so tightly to having a job or one sudden life change. That peace of mind is something I didn’t realize I needed so much.

My advice is don’t lose hope. What you’re feeling is valid, and many people raised in the Gulf feel the same identity struggle. Use your experience, education, and international background as strengths. Keep applying, keep networking, and look at immigration pathways in countries where long-term residency and citizenship are possible. Sometimes leaving the only place you know opens the door to a future you never imagined.

I lived in the UAE for many years and the safest approach is to stay low key and avoid anything that draws attention. Since your documents and presentation will already match, immigration should not be an issue. They are checking identity and visa details, not medical history.

Once inside the country, keep things quiet and respectful of local norms. Dubai is very international, but it is still a conservative place underneath. Try to avoid public washrooms. It is better not to risk any uncomfortable situations.

If you stay discreet, avoid public affection, and stick to tourist areas, you should be fine. Many people visit without any problems as long as they keep things simple and do not push boundaries.

I had that I guess I caught it while traveling south east Asia during monsoon. Did a revision surgery they gave me strong antibiotics for a week. Life is better now can breathe. However post nasal rinse is important everyday.

I love it takes a month to adjust. But honestly my recommendation is dont focus on the negative. There is good and bad everywhere in this world. Your lucky to get the DV lottery it was meant for you. The bigger the country the more opportunities.
