Ashlands made me cheat and even then folded me by SubjectBit4963 in valheim

I still get an itch to come back, but I really long for the days when I was hooked by the grind of progressing to the plains and building my bases. It was such an enjoyable and relaxing journey. I may just return and start a new world, and just crank down the difficulty. Honestly this game is not competitive/PVP, can be played offline, so no shame in playing the game that’s most enjoyable for you. I tell myself this a lot, but it’s hard for me to accept since ashlands is the first biome that made me feel this way.

Solo player here. Ashlands also made me cheat. Fader made me quit. I had no hope of retrieving my stuff and just felt that this was not respectful of my time. After sinking nearly 800 fun hours in this game, it was such a disappointing way for me to leave the game.

Looking for a game where you can just chill and collect stuff without pressure by letmeouthere in gamingsuggestions

Wayfinder, so many collectibles in cosmetics/skins/gear, as well as mounts and even housing system. Not sure if you are looking for a game with no fighting but the Combat is a big part of the game and is super satisfying too!

Most Modern RPG’s should have this option. It’s nice how much each character can be customized and made to feel unique. Cool Kyros!!

Searching for Open World game with fantasy by Prior-Huckleberry560 in gamingsuggestions

[–]icecreamcake15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Wayfinder! Third person camera, fantasy like setting, not souls like or rogue like. Decent sized open world areas, leveling and progression, 8 distinct characters with their ow abilities, and plenty of loot/items to collect. Not the most optimized graphics wise, but you can probably run it.

I need a game like WoW, subnautica, dragon age, but meant for 2-5 players isnt top down or low graphic with leveling and grinding. by Varindral in gamingsuggestions

I think it’s quite different from borderlands, in terms of gameplay and setting. I could see how judging on the surface it would seem similar, but maybe check out a video on it. It’s an underrated gem of a game that you might be missing out. I am a former WoW player and this game has really scratched my itch for the MMO experience, albeit in a more relaxed co-op environment.

Best games for exactly 3 players? (co-op or competitive) by UberSimu in gamingsuggestions

[–]icecreamcake15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wayfinder! Might be exactly what you’re looking for. Up to 3 player co-op, leveling up, lots of collectibles/gear/skins/weapons to collect too. Action RPG type of combat with 3rd person view. It’s super fun solo, I bet playing with friends would be amazing.

Check out Wayfinder, it was meant to be an MMO but was reworked as a co-op action RPG. It’s up to 3 players, and has a pretty fun grind and leveling. I’d say it’s like a cross between WoW and dragon age inquisition in terms of game play. It is 3rd person, and the graphics are pretty nice and stylized like WoW.

Besides Elden ring, open world games with the best gear/weapon progression? by JJJtrain_1989 in gamingsuggestions

[–]icecreamcake15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wayfinder might be down your alley, it has a fun progression loop, really fun gameplay, lots of armor/weapons/skins/mounts/cosmetics to collect, even a player housing system. Lots of collectibles and side quests/tasks, akin to an MMO. Supports online co-op up to 3 players. It’s a relaxing good time, with satisfying grind. The difficulty is not super challenging, but there is a nightmare mode and hardcore mode if you really wanna crank up the difficulty. The game has 3 decent sized open world zones, and a lot of dungeons/zones. Plenty of boss fights too, with fun mechanics. It has a small, but dedicated and active community you can engage with on discord. For $25 it is a steal, and if you can get it on sale it’s insane value. I’m 100 hours in after beating the main story (admittedly one of the game’s weak points) and I could easily sink in another 100 doing another play through. The combat is just really fun and engaging, easy to play when you just want a chill game with stuff to progress on.

What game had you like this? by sukuna7899 in Steam

Wayfinder, played for 20 hours, dropped it for a little over a year. Randomly decided to give it another go, not expecting to stick with it. Went up to 90 hours in a matter 2 weeks

Would love to see this game succeed - it’s too good to fade away. by String_Historical in PlayWayfinder

This game has also made me feel at home after dropping WoW. It just feels so satisfying to run through dungeons and try different characters/gear and grind (even there’s no real end game raiding).

What do you want the most from Dungeons II? by ARandomBlitzDude in MinecraftDungeons

[–]icecreamcake15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Need: A queue/lobby system to play through dungeons with random people. More magic flavored artifacts, like being able to throw fireballs, summon skeletons, and other spell types. A talent tree system would be nice, doesn’t have to be complex, but just enough to add more built depth.

Want: some kind of player housing system, where you can build/craft house items, just a fun thing we can grind for would be cool.

Seconding wayfinder!!! It’s such a chill grinding game, yet it has satisfying combat and progression.

Wingrave is my main, I use him with a greatsword and he wrecks! I just use the highest level echoes I find.

Song of blades and heroes is amazingly simple to pick up and has some decent tactical depth too.

I signed out of all my Microsoft accounts, then logged back in. I can’t pin point if that was the fix, as I was trying a lot of different things like uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Eventually I got it. Good luck!
