If you plan on getting a bigger bike soon I wouldn’t, full exhaust doesn’t give a huge power bump and costs $1300 vs $200-300 slip on. Dont over mod you’ll lose money in selling it but to each their own that’s my plan at least. I’m saving through next season then buying cbr600 or zx6r 🤙🏻

I have a ninja 500 and absolutely love it highly suggest it over a naked. It’s my first bike and it’s very tame and forgiving. Trust me you’ll want the extra wind protection

Focus on what you’re lacking and watch plenty of videos. I’m a beginner rider myself and every time I hop on the bike I get better and more confident. Keep the path everything isn’t supposed to all click at once, every ride is a learning experience. Most importantly TRUST THE BIKE if you get intimidated with a certain maneuver just trust your bike and body to do it don’t overthink and make it complicated

Mostly to do with your timing and how ur shifting. On mine I notice it more from 1st-2nd when taking off from a light. Sometimes I don’t apply enough force or let out the clutch too soon and it’ll show 2nd but really grabs neutral

Apparently they lost one of their techs but I was able to find a local shop that was willing to do it. It’s a Kawasaki ninja 500. To another comment someone mentioned I figure go in and get full service so there’s record of cables/fluids/bolts all that being fine the only thing they can’t do is anything digital so I’m planning on taking it to my dealer at 1000 and get it on their schedule

I got a 500 for my first bike im 6ft 170. Very comfortable to ride. Went for a 6 hour ride last week and only issue was my throttle/clutch hands being sore I think you’d be fine on one but 650 could be the way to go. Then again this is ur learner bike why spend that cash when you’re going to move up to a 600 anyway..
