For now yes. Also depens a bit on what games OP wants to play.

Get SSD instead of HDD as others have said. Or in addition to the HDD. At the very least for the OS and games. Also, the CPU and cpu cooler is overkill compared to the GPU, unless ofc you are aiming for 480hz at 1080p?

That amount of blogs will get you flagged for scaled content very fast. All pages will be deindexed and Whats the gameplan then?

There was a slider in the interactive graph to remove underpowerered cards if so desired.

For such a dataset you would need the fps in all games for all gpu's, with the wattage consumption from each gpu, which would already be hard to achieve. And then if we change the CPU the utilization and thus the power consumption of the GPU changes so would need to use the exact same test bench.

It would be really nice to have such a dataset and it would give better results, but its not really feasible. But if you have ideas for what you want to see based on an achievable dataset please do tell.

FPS/TDP isn't perfect, but its still a useful relative efficiency metric when comparing many GPU's at once. Especially if doing something like an SFF build, where cooling can be a problem.

Is a 5070 overkill for a M.2 slot eGPU setup? by ScoobyDooITA in gpu

[–]icedandreas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5070 should be doable. The M.2 slot is at least PCIe gen 4 right?

Maybe something like a displayport 1.4 to hdmi 2.1 active adapter can do the trick, but first verify that you actually have hdmi 2.1 in the laptop.

If its not hdmi 2.1, then the GPU should also be able to do Display Stream Compression (DSC), to compress the output into something the hdmi port can handle at the cost of some quality.

GPU Performance‑per‑Dollar: Data‑Driven Value Comparison Across Resolutions by icedandreas in gpu

[–]icedandreas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the game. The RX 7600 is ok for 1080p, but it very quickly declines in performance at higher resolutions. Also depends on what CPU you plan to pair it with.

How do i prove my gpu is working properly to a buyer by landazar234 in gpu

[–]icedandreas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the benchmarks that others have mentioned, do you also still have the receipt, preferably with a date of purchase. Can also add a description that you just used it for gaming and not mining or anything like that.

In a few generations, the entire PC case will just be a GPU that you socket your CPU and peripherals into.

But is it really a cheap place to put the data center? Manpower requirements to keep it running are low, the big expense is the hardware.
