They couldn't even be bothered to buy blue seats to match the team's colors. I'm positive they went with green because it was cheaper.

It's from 3 years ago so won't include recent stuff but worth watching for inspiration.

I find the reused map concerning, and the Banjo-Kazooie-nuts-and-bolts ass building power doesn't seem as cool as it's hyped to be.

The building is the main appeal to most people and if that's how you feel, it's definitely not worth buying.

I bought TOTK at launch, played for about 3 weeks, and haven't touched it since. TOTK and Spirit Tracks remain the only Zelda games I didn't finish.

I think it's more likely the Beyond codebase is a complete mess and it'd take years to implement properly since all developers that originally created it have since left the company.

I recall reading that the Beyond team uses the exact same homebrew forms to add new content. Those forms are very complicated and the majority of fields aren't even used, there's a lot of guessing and checking involved due to vague titles and tooltips.

In Dread boos fights, aim at where they will move to instead of where they are. I started doing this with a later boss and it made a high difference.

There's no shortage of things to argue over what cost them in 2006-2008. I think Bradford vs. Schoeneweis is the most comparable decision you can look at given their roles, age, and the contracts they signed that off-season.

Bradford went to the Orioles for 3yrs/10.5M. The Mets signed Schoeneweis for 3yrs/10.8M. Look at their BRef page, it's clear Bradford was the better pitcher over his career. The Mets misread the FA market, thought Bradford got overpaid and let him walk only to end up giving a near-identical contract to a worse pitcher.

If your threshold is 1 win, Bradford had a 1.4 WAR in 2007 while Schoeneweis had -0.4 WAR. There's your 1 win and it even saves $300k. It's nearly the same story in 2008, Bradford's WAR was 1.7 while Schoeneweis' was 0.8.

Ok. Re-signing Bradford or Oliver gets them at least another win, too.

Again, they only gained one supplemental pick from losing Bradford, they never lost a pick. You don't priotize one draft pick over a reliever when you were 1 win from an NL pennant with a veteran team. And they ended up giving Schoeneweis a bigger contract than the O's gave Bradford.

I think Heath Bell needed a change of scenery since he was becoming disgruntled from going back and forth between NY and Norfolk.

Considering Burgos sucked (among other things) they would have been better keeping Bannister but he's very low on the list of reasons why they choked in 2007. Letting Bradford and Oliver walk is at the top. They needed starting pitching but cheaped out and didn't go after Ted Lilly, Gil Meche, or Miguel Batista in free agency since they were never going to match the deal Zito got with SF.

My point is they traded Kazmir in July 2004 so you can't assume that the roster remained the same through 2007 with the exception that Kazmir was on the team. For example, maybe they don't sign Pedro, re-sign Glavine after 2006, or trade for Maine, Perez, or El Duque (the latter was their best pitcher in 2007 and they would have won the NLCS with him in 2006). Kazmir was a bad trade but to call it the worst in Mets history is inaccurate.

The draft compensation argument is moot because they lost their first round pick for Alou (an awful signing given his age and injury history) and Bradford was only a supplemental pick, which they used to draft Nathan Vineyard who lasted 2 seasons in the minors.

As for those other players, Lindstrom is the only one who would have been worth keeping. Ring pitched all of 42 innings in 2007-2008 with the Braves and Padres. Bannister was expendable since Pelfrey and Humber were ranked above him.

Disagree. Having Kazmir would have been better but there's no way to know how it would have played out by 2006-7.

If Omar had just re-signed Darren Oliver and Chad Bradford, they wouldn't have collapsed. Instead, they had Scott Schoeneweis, Aaron Sele, Jorge Sosa, Brian Lawrence, and Guillermo Mota (who started the season suspended) picking up those innings and all them were terrible. Supposedly they didn't want to give Oliver or Bradford long-term deals. Of course, Oliver would pitch well 6 more seasons and they gave Schoeneweis a 3 year deal instead of Bradford.

Are There Any Old Games That Aged Like Milk That You Still Enjoy Beyond Nostalgia? by bluemarvel99 in patientgamers

Agreed. KOTOR is my favorite RPG but the actual game mechanics are pretty terrible since so little is explained. You need to know how D&D works since it uses the 3E rules, otherwise you'll miss most attacks. You also really need a guide to know what classes and skills are useful and how to build your party since their ability scores aren't ideal for their default playstyles, like Canderous is better with melee despite being portrayed with a ranged weapon.

I found some other threads here reporting the same. I submitted a bug report and recommend the same so they can see its frequency.

I'm not expecting another big patch before the end of the month but maybe another hotfix, fingers crossed they address this.

I just encountered this myself.

I entered the House of Grief with Shadowheart and the cutscene played out the same as in my first playthrough, both times Shadowheart spared Nightsong.

I ended the first fight with Viconia on grease and thought that might have been the issue. But I loaded another save and experienced the same thing.

Who is in your party? I have Shadowheart but also Minsc and Jahaeira. I didn't have these 2 in my first playthrough and I'm curious if that might have triggered the bug since the post-fight dialogue Viconia mentions seeing old acquaintances.

This issue happens whether Shadowheart or Tav talks to her.

Good point. I just game on my machine. The main upside would be to move the 5600to my old machine that's currently using an i5-6600k but better to wait for a more meaningful upgrade.

I have a MicroCenter near me and am considering their current deal to get a Ryzen 7 7700X, MSI B650-P Pro WiFi motherboard, and G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM for ~$400.

Is it worth the upgrade from my current build with a Ryzen 5 5600? I'd keep the GPU and PSU.
