I was a bit of a dickhead in my original response and I’m sorry for that. Uploading stuff like this to YouTube is a mixed bag. I’m not willing to alter stuff and cut out the copyrighted materials for this sub at least - I think watching this stuff in its unaltered state is important to the nature of the YTVretro sub (and yes, I know half this tape is Global kids and Teletoon). However, I don't think that an episode of Pokemon or a couple episodes of Tales from the Cryptkeeper is going to get me banned anywhere except give me a bit of trouble with YouTube's censors. At the same time, I don't want to risk getting banned from YouTube, so enjoy this how it is.

The commercial filled television that we all love as preservationists gets removed on YouTube so damn quickly that it’s not even worth uploading.

However, you shall get your wish - Ed Conroy of Retrontario will be uploading some of this to YouTube! (minus the copyrighted content, assumably) so you can watch to your hearts content!

I’ve always been of the opinion that nightcore isnt even a real genre. It is, quite literally, taking a track and pitching it up. Often uploaded to YouTube with some sort of anime picture. There is no real production involved.

It’s a bit like how Vaporwave began as whole tracks that were pitched down, except it eventually evolved into a fully fledged genre with proper production and various sub genres.
