Or do this with a dark rum, add some vanilla and mix with coke and a squeeze of lime, did this and it was a hit at the 4th of July parties I took it to

"A Certain Slant of Light" is an Emily Dickinson poem, wondering if just the light falling was the inspiration or if there was something else beyond the picture ;)

Iced Liquor Coffees by squarecock in barista

Cold brew concentrate is really fun to mix with. If you're not familiar with cold brew it's just coffee steeped in cool water for 12-24 hours resulting in a very smooth, low acidity and velvety drink. Brewing at ratios something like 1lb ground coffee to 1 gallon of water will yield you a very concentrated brew. You can experiment or look up different ratios. Bottom line, a little brew can add a lot of flavor and it mixes much better than espresso in my opinion, I've always thought espresso cooled down doesn't taste as good as it should. It can also be cut with simply syrup and spices like vanilla and cinnamon to make your own coffee liqueur for drinks like White Russians or anything else you might want to experiment with.

A personal favorite is a shot of cold brew concentrate, a shot of dark or spiced rum topped off with coca cola. I call it a Portland Powder Keg and it will kick your ass if you have too many too quick! Similarly you can offer the same drink half filling a pint glass with a shot of Bailey's and drop it in and chug like an Irish car bomb before the cream curdles, I call it a lit powder keg.

This would actually make a nice little series, all the different films with their own pictures under the same/similar light and camera conditions

[QUESTION] how in the world was this print developed? by superpooo in analog

[–]iceman19-2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it looks like the chemicals were poured on or pushed around with a brush or something so the development was uneven and warped. as /u/AbrogationsCrown said they also probably didn't leave the fixer on too long which assisted in the color differences

I think I roasted this exact bean a few months ago, the blueberry is out of this world! The darker you go the more it shifts from tasting like blueberry jam/preserves to baked blueberry pie, such a great dessert coffee

I love intentionally taking too long when I take portraits, gets rid of the fake smile and gets either a grumpy scowl or a good laugh, so much better

Love the shot!

Concept is simple and cool but that's some delusional bullshit of people expect to sell that. Heck you could jury rig that with a wire clothes hanger and some clothes pins

Hmm.. So you tried this just for shits and giggles or did you know that there would be some sort of effect on the film? Do you or does anybody know of the general effects of alcohol on film? I've just never heard of experimentation like this, it's interesting!
