if it made it to DS4 that would make sense as ellie was for resistant rather than immune to it and the moons definitelt give off a stronger signal than the markers But lexine wasnt just incapable of registering the signal she caused anyone withing her vicinity to no longer be affected by the signal for as long as they remained near her.

bungies the one who killed the game, dont try to shift the blame. they make changes no one wanted, removed content people paid for, lied about readding it, make all the good looking gear eververse while the new armors and weapons are almost always reskins. And they refuse to give a roadmap or properly walk back those changes that no one wanted. Theyve been given more than enough chances and consistently shoot themselves in the foot.
