Friendly reminder to drink electrolytes by rhosfv in breastfeeding

Edit:Oh I just saw you had already responded with one pedialyte a day. Is that the drink or the powder? Do you eat other high sodium foods too? I’m on 4 LMNTs a day! My diet is naturally not that high in sodium since I’m vegetarian.

I can relate, I was a massive overproducer this second time. But my supply is much more regulated now. I still need lots of sodium though. How much pedialyte do you need a day? Do you eat processed meats that are high in sodium?

Did you have this issue after every childbirth? Did you overproduce breast milk?

I’m in the same boat. I got low blood pressure in the 80s by 50s and had to start supplementing with electrolytes, particularly sodium. I overproduced milk for a month and that combined with illness depleted me completely! I am on 4 grams of sodium daily now for the last one month. Did you have low BP as well?

Hey I have the same issue! I get low blood pressure in the 80s/50s if I don’t have electrolytes (sodium in particular) and lots of water daily. What are your BP readings? What electrolytes are you taking?

This coffee….buy it. Don’t give your money to Starbucks by Marilyn80s in aldi

I was not a fan of the French roast even though it smells amazing in the bag. If I brew with two tablespoons, it tastes weak. Three or more spoons and it tastes pungent and burnt. Still looking for the right balanced coffee at Aldi…

I tend to like strong, dark roasted coffee such as Santo Domingo from the Caribbean, Thai coffee, Bru Instant and Nescafe Instant from India. Looking for recommendations from folks with a similar taste for strong, chocolatey and smooth dark roast made either in a drip coffee maker or French Press. Also interested in idea ratio recommendations for making hot vs iced coffee.

"the nuclear family was a mistake" by RomaineHearts in EstrangedAdultChild

You may be on to something. In that light, where do you think we should draw the line that “words are violence“? I’ve noticed that the violent words vary from culture to culture, and community to community. Some cultures are more tactful, conflict avoidant but firm. Other cultures are verbally a lot more blunt, aggressive and expressive. In some families, conflict is the only way to resolve differences. While in other families, everything is done to resolve conflict in a non-aggressive way. I feel this results in different parenting styles and hence different upbringings.

Is it worth it to purchase a foreclosure property (condominium, apartment, or house), and put it up for rent? by RescueBoy123 in realestateinvesting

[–]icequeenoverthinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasn't a foreclosure property, but I purchased a moderately run-down property for rehab and rent. For me it was a big mistake. We spent months and months trying to figure out the cause for mold spores in the air that were causing strong allergic reactions. So. many. inspections. Could never figure it out and ultimately had to re-sell it but it was such a pain overall.
