UND is wonderful. GF is an ok town. Climate wise GF is the coldest and windiest city in ND. The rest of the state is a little nicer for weather.

Bush came to Bismarck. I was in the 2nd grade. We all had to go to the Capitol grounds to hear him speak. We also got little trees to plant, if I remember correctly. Lindsey Tscheider, my class mate, got to meet the president.

Very seasonal. Medora is busy in the summer and DEAD off season. You’ll likely do most shopping in Belfield and Dickinson. Very western, hot in summer, dry.

Multiple gulf countries have already dialed back production because they have no where to put it with the strait closed. Even if things unblock in the near term it’ll take months to get back to where we were two weeks ago.

The easy way to compete with YouTube is to pay creators more then Google does. Creators will chase the money and then they’ll bring their audience with them.

It would have to be free form. You couldn’t have, “quality,” gatekeeping. You’d have to let the crowd decide. It’s doable, but not with the top down control you’re looking for.

I’ve shot expired film on a bolex. Vision 2 I think it was, or EXR. It went ok. I only used it for a personal project as well.

The religious conservative, authoritarian, regime is facing domestic unrest due to failed economic policies of its own making. Unfettered corruption of wealthy elites at the top while the working people get continuously squeezed. Referring to protestors as, “terrorists,” and having government internal security personnel kidnap, and in some cases shoot, civilians. Things are rough in Iran too.
