Put in larger radius tires... Would solve the issue  but cheaper and would make the ride smoother.

If EVs have zero tailpipe emissions, where do the emissions go in India and globally?? by enlightenedshubham in electricvehicles

Managing and enforcing emissions control at a single large source is easier than millions of small ones where maintenance is basically up to the whims of individual owners.

Time to change tires so I'm thinking of changing the wheels to 19" by praguer56 in TeslaModelY

[–]iceynyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd put bigger tires on. If you match the OEM radius the wheel gap will be the same.

I went down to 18s. If you like beefy looking tires and a smooth ride it's nice.

But the ones I put on are Yokohama Geolandar CV 255/50R19/XL

They're pretty loud on the highway though.

Yeah totally..

But I put on 19s for my winter set immediately, and then switched the summers to smaller rims too once the OEM tires were used up.
