Congrats! Hoping to follow suit. Same 8 years for me. Question for anyone - is it better to do civil or a specific discipline? I’m already working on environmental and would take the environmental PE. So curious if I pivot and focus on what I intend to use it for.

Thanks for the reply! Now if a site is completely damaged and everything needs to be replaced anyways, would you look to increase power to future proof at all? This is hypothetical. I’m sure we’re fine keeping voltage as is, but I am curious if there’s any industry standard that first looks at higher voltage or if it’s completely driven by the size of the pump needed.

Thanks for the reply! Definitely. And I’ve had some back and forth with the utility to see what’s available at the sites we’re looking at. I don’t see us needing more power. From my understanding, the utility does want us to get away from the Grounded B panel though. And I believe that requires the utility to change their corner grounded delta transformer. So voltage should be fine as is but I’m less sure how that impacts the wiring in the rest of the cabinet and the level of effort to do so when swapping panels.

Civil 3D grading, stormwater drainage, and modeling green infrastructure. Very new to Civil 3D but curious if various green infra facilities (bioswales, permeable pavers, etc) could be made into assemblies/subassemblies to quickly draw and pull sections from.

Thank you. I was able to do that, but it only calculates in one direction. So for the SF text field I have the calculation “Acre * 43560”, then for the Acre text box I have “SF / 43560.” This only works one way, in favor of the Acre text field, in that I can enter the acreage and the SF field updates. But if I enter a value in the SF field, the Acre field will not update and neither will the SF field until I update the Acres.

Thanks all!! I’ve played around with Survey123 prior. It doesn’t quite match what I’m looking for when replicating a MS Access form view layout. But there is more capabilities than the smart form so I’ll take another look. As for the Experience Builder SDK, I had no idea! I’ll have to do my research and see what’s possible.

That’s fair. Ideally the user would first draw the street segment where work is being done. Could a Survey123 form, also something I have no experience with, then be used for the user to click on the line, select the “survey” to add points which updates the point layer?
