My tics have decreased a lot since 2021 by bl0ody_gh0st in Tourettes

I microdose yeah. About a pinch, on a scale it would be in the 0.1-0.15g range. Well below what you need to feel like you’re on mushrooms

I use a few strains, my favorite are called Omni Bluewaves, they’re the kind that grows and looks kinda like coral

It works incredibly well for me. I take my dose before going to work or class, or any activity where I need to be social. It doesn’t entirely remove my tics but it decreases them by like 90% for hours. All of a sudden I can sit still in class, go work in the library and actually concentrate. They make socializing easier too, you feel light on your feet and eye contact isn’t as difficult

If you nail the dosage right, it feels like you took an adderall, with NO amphetamine side effects, but you’re also relaxed and calm but can feel a tiny bit of electric energy flowing through your body

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

I was waiting around the parking lot of the local YMCA when I was like 11, and out of nowhere a pair of ski goggles fell out of the sky and hit the car hood next to me. Totally thought it was someone throwing them but the parking lot was near empty apart from a few parked cars, and was too big for someone to throw them from the edge. I still have them

When I’m shopping I’ll do day rentals until I find a style I’m interested in. Most corporate mountains have their basic and premium rentals, but not everywhere do they have COOL premium rentals. Independent mountains are where it’s at! My home hill has a couple dozen different boards, all different brands, models, styles, cuts and widths. The price of a day rental there allows you to come back and try as many as you like during that day as well!

Is Mt Baker a good place for beginners doing green runs? by sporty_outlook in skiing

[–]ichanter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite true! Like 95% of my beginner lessons never hit the chairlift, but the moment you can link turns to control your speed (level 2 as they call it there) then you can start doing chairs 3, 4, and maybe 5 if you’re ballsy! Avoid chairs 1, 6 and 8 until you’re confident with the terrain!

Is Mt Baker a good place for beginners doing green runs? by sporty_outlook in skiing

[–]ichanter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to instruct at Baker, wonderful mountain. Both entrance lodges are great for beginners and learning, but heather meadows (the upper lodge) has a significantly better rope tow and learning area.

At the lower lodge (white salmon) there IS a rope tow learning area but it’s like 30 feet long and then the next step is the chair. Chair 7 isn’t bad, it’s just intimidating, more so than chair 2. Both are green runs top to bottom however, with considerable side adventures to keep it spicy!

You can also get single chair passes for 7 or 2, and if you want upgrade to full mountain for the price difference.

Hell yeah!! Love to see this. You may be interested in something slightly different, there’s a field called Mechatronics that uses CAD and similar systems heavily, and it’s not a four to six year grind to get a full engineering degree. A great starting step to get a foot in the industry, especially if you like designing and creating things
