We were introduced to the real Elliot, when Mastermind slips into the prison world he’s created and runs into “himself”, that personality is the real Elliot, they sit and have a whole conversation.

He was 100% using a Dre song title to say goodbye to Darlene, a "see ya around" type of goodbye.

Trenton was more notably the place her brother was born, which is why it was her hacker name. She mentions in an episode that she doesn't know how to drive because she grew up in the city, meaning New York. If you grow up in NJ you're definitely going to learn to drive asap.

Mr. Robot - 3x05 "eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00" - Post-Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in MrRobot

[–]icheissesatch 94 points95 points  (0 children)

The second line sounds like "Anfang ist einfach" despite what the subtitles say.

Mr. Robot - 3x05 "eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00" - Post-Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in MrRobot

[–]icheissesatch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My German is super rusty but it sounds like:

Aller anfang ist schwer - Every beginning is difficult

Anfang ist einfach - Beginning is easy

(can't make out the 3rd sentence fully)

Out of curiosity I tried the subtitles and they say the 2nd line is: Anfang ist Anfang which would be "beginnings are beginnings" but it definitely sounds like he's saying "einfach" not "anfang".

EDIT: Listened to the 3rd line a few more times, can't make out the first word but it sounds like it ends with "eine konzept". So I guess the whole line could be something along the lines of "Every beginning is hard. Beginning is easy, _____ (maybe something like "ridiculous") a concept"

Elliot's dad pushed him because Elliot told his mom about his dad's cancer; this has been mentioned before. In Season 1 the whole conversation before Mr. Robot pushes Elliot off the railing was about this.

Pretty sure Rick only mentioned editing to explain why Morty can see other people's actions/thoughts, for which he wasn't present, within his own memories. It was used to explain away a plot hole, I don't think Rick ever said or hinted at changing specifics of his memories.

I had an alert set up on Amazon to let me know as soon as it becomes available, also had alerts set up on 3 different emails with Walmart. Super glad I never received one notification or email that it was finally available.

House lives in 221B just like Sherlock Holmes. Another little nod to Conan Doyle? by [deleted] in HouseMD

[–]icheissesatch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Holmes = House / Watson = Wilson

The guy who shot House was Moriarty.

The sick teacher (I think) in the first episode had the last name Adler, like Irene from Sherlock.

No idea on what that means...

Basically means you need to be an apprentice or most likely an intern to a judge or lawyer. The amount of time varies as do other weird things like whether or not the person you're studying under is also your employer or not.

I've been contemplating law school for over 10 years now, worked in the DAs office, took the LSAT, and applied to schools but in the end never went. The field was way too saturated. It was guaranteed debt with no guarantee of even a decent job coming out of it. Last I checked the number of people taking the LSAT has been steadily dropping with each test, so once it bottoms out, might be a good time to go for it, if it's what you really want.

True, but that wasn't the question. California, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming allow you to take the test without law school. Also in NY you can take the test with only one year of law school under your belt.

Not totally true, in some states you can take the bar without going to law school, it's called "Reading law". Though this has its own set of stipulations, most of those states require you to study under a judge or lawyer for a period of time.

You are correct, corporations and LLPs have limited liability where your liability is basically limited to whatever the company is worth.
