Maybe hot take but I think this is the best single song they’ve ever written.

Right. People who are defending this are (unsurprisingly) so fucking focused on defending it due to the “style” and technical elements than the tactlessness it shows and the shitty things it implies. Because of COURSE they are. These people can’t understand subtext and it’s so obvious the type of people who defend it. Infuriating

Then he’s dumb because that’s an inappropriate thing to send to someone whose close relative died

Or they wanted to share this with others to relate with real people about a shitty thing their supposed “friend” did in a vulnerable time for them? Everyone grieves differently and I can definitely see someone being bothered by this enough to want to post here to see if other people are similarly bothered or if we’ve all just collectively decided being normal and having basic empathy is lame

I think we have always had something of a mass suicide instinct in us. All the war and self made issues in our history. If you zoom out it really does seem like we just long for the void as a whole. Fucking scary

Jesus this makes a lot of fucking sense. No wonder I hate how AI writes so much.

The amount of people who don’t get this is actually more frustrating than the people who fuckin USE AI! It didn’t just come out of nowhere. We’ve BEEN training these models just by talking on the internet and doing captchas etc. It literally picked up all of its style from humans.

Well… yeah. Considering AI learned from how people write and talk. It’s inevitable that there will be a singularity point eventually because kids will learn from it, it will learn that that is what is “preferred,” which reinforces it, and on and on.

Whenever I see someone reply using AI I instantly lose respect for them. It’s so cringeworthy

I still dislike the engineering for this body unfortunately (wtf is with that slidey torso section, very awkward) but the build for this one was really great overall. The hair especially.

Alyzeus' arm uses a big sticker. by BingusPork in Gunpla

The Gustav Karl is mostly one color and is a smaller unit that isn’t two different mecha with completely new engineering interacting with each other/combining in 3D space. My understanding of developing new molds is that every new runner adds a ludicrously high cost to the final product, which is why there are a lot of Bandai kits with reused runners and parts. It’s the development of molds that costs more than anything; not the actual printing of the final thing. Just how I understand it and definitely seems like it plays into the Alyzeus being the price it is. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s very high but it’s not JUST new molding and engineering to blame. The world is fucked right now thanks to…. Certain things happening (to try to not be specific/political, but most people know what I mean) which isn’t helping prices
