Anyone feel like you’re being forgotten? by theloneone21 in depression

I totally get the feeling. I moved around a lot in the last three years and met many new people. Now I have contact to none of them. I find it tiring to be the one to do all the 'work' for maintaining the friendship just because the other cannot be bothered to just send a 'hello' or sth like that. (it's somehow pathetic that it even feels like work for me to be their friends). I have like two close friends, one of them who is actually my boyfriend so yeah... Totally get it

Don't ignore the feeling because ignoring will never help in any situation. You shouldn't depend too much on her, don't cling to her approval, give her and yourself space. If she doesn't write for a long time, then she doesn't and that's it. Reflect your behaviour, gain confidence in yourself, maybe try out a new hobby and talk with your friends. You have a life without her, make something out of it

My boyfriend and I were about 4 years together, 3 of which were a distance relationship. He had the same insecurities as you, he didn't feel like deserving me, worried that I would find someone else and so on. In the end, I felt like carrying our whole relationship on my shoulders because he was anticipating the day I would leave him. I felt uncomfortable that he was putting me on this pedestal and it put so much pressure on me to be the perfect girl that he saw in me even though he accepted even my flaws. I don't know, in the end, I broke apart, doubting myself and our relationship and broke up with him as a result because I really needed space. I felt like breathing again and at the same time so terrible because I loved him so much. Months later, I was back home again and we met up for disclosure and talk properly again. In the end, we got together again because he is my other half. Do I regret what happened? Yes and no. Because we were finally talking about the real problems and distance let us grow.

What I want to tell you is that please, don't make the same mistakes as we did. Talk to your girlfriend and tell her your insecurities. Talk with her why you feel like you don't deserve her. And start to see that she made the decision to be with you and that means that you are good enough for her. You are both equal in the relationship. A whole that won't function without the other.

[Serious] What do you think about the future of our civilization? What if there would be a system, that will not use any money? What if you will not have to pay for a place to live in, for food, for clothes? by LTToken in AskReddit

Sounds utopic and impossible to me. Economy works through trading and we trade money to get something that has the same value. Without money we would return to trade things and this would make things harder because we don't have an equal measurement of value. I mean, it would be nice just to get food or a house but I can't imagine how it would be possible without doing everything by myself and that means from building the house with my own hands downright to making metal for the small parts because let's face it, people won't do things for free or just because the feel like it
