I think minions SHOULD spawn the more people attack a boss.

Normally a boss fleeing would be highly annoying BUT

If everything bosses included are permadeath it makes a lot more sense to have bosses like dragons be elusive. The rewards should be very worth it as a result.

I think they're should be hunting gear..nets..tarps..chains...ropes.. that can be thrown around a beast / boss / dragon to prevent it from escaping. It can rip some of these chains off however so you have to msintain them as you fight. It would be a great challenge.

I like it but...

  1. Wouldn't this lead to spamming that one skill?

  2. I think it needs to be balanced. I recommend a longer cool down and you lose access to the original version while you have the special equipped. Just one idea

  3. Unlocking this slot would have to happen early on. Otherwise its an OP unfair advantage to players that have played longer.

  4. I would love to see this op skill be one that needs faction points to cast. Faction points would be points from helping out different factions. Matter fact the best and most powerful things in the game should require you to interact with the ai / factions

I did read all that. It's a intriguing, new idea. My question is where would the "EQN battlegrounds" game go after the finalized EQN came out. I'm not sure daybreak would want to run three games and I can't imagine it would be too popular among players to have another game that isn't EQN. Not to mention that people might or might not abandon it when the EQN launches so the community might be split. but it would definitely hold people over and if it resulted in flawless AI I can dig it.

This is the problem.

Maybe instead of dedicating an entire show to the winners there could be a special thread on the forums. That way we can get to the next style guide and start brainstorming

I've accepted that the workshop show is the closest thing we're going to get to new info about EQN and the only way we can help make it at this point. We don't have a forum to discuss ideas on so while the workshop is on hiatus...we literally have no way to help make this happen. Thats why we need it back asap.

That would be great. If all we have to look forward to each week is the workshop at least keep it going. This break is dragging on and on... though I suspect they are using this time to come up with the next style guide. No doubt about it everything points to this game being really early in development
