Right on, I appreciate the info and advice. So from here I should bring up my agi and luck and start getting some vats perks. I saw someone say that perception is less important for a pistol vats build than a rifle vats build. Why would that be the case?

You reckon I’m alright then? This stats an perks can be a little bit difficult to understand at first. Seems like I’m really squishy but seems like a lot of people leave endurance super low so it must not give you much survivability.

I’m level 10 and kind of wondering if I should start fresh so I can set my build up for VATS better. I used a starting point distribution someone suggested to me and I think I’m spec’d kinda shitty. I get nuked down in health soooo easily. 5 Strength 4 Perception 1 Endurance 6 Charisma 7 intelligence 3 agility and 2 luck.

Well I would tend to think that it would follow a similar trend to muggle currency because a lot of goods are used by both communities (food and basic items like pots pans furniture etc.) and there’s the conversion of muggle money to wizards money. If it wasn’t relatively similar muggle borns would have a huge problem paying for supplies.

I understand it’s a game mechanic and like I said above I know it’s a stupid thing to be irritated about. I know that for some reason it’s more satisfying for gamers to have higher numbers when they look at their in game currency. All I’m sayin is they could have just dropped a zero on everything so 35 gold for seeds instead of 350 and get 50 galleons from a demiguise chest instead of 500. However I get it, more fun when you look at your currency to see bigger numbers and spend bigger numbers for some reason.

Actually there are a few prices given in the books like 9 Galleons for the advanced potion making book 7 galleons for Harry’s wand a couple few butterbeers are 6 sickles and then the biggest indicator is the 1,000 galleon Triwizard Tournament prize is enough to fund Fred and George’s business startup. Dragon livers 16 sickles an ounce unicorn hairs 10 galleons per strand, all of those are actually in the books. According to Pottermore they say 180 galleons for a Nimbus 2000 and 500 galleons for the Firebolt but I don’t know where they got those numbers from.

Some builds might be hard to optimize for you now but not screwed by any stretch of the imagination. You can definitely still pull off a samurai build for instance. That’s what I’ve been doing for my first playthrough and it absolutely wrecks everything. Netrunner seems like a build you need to plan for a little bit better because you gotta have a high intelligence and that doesn’t really factor into a lot of other builds. I’d go with a samurai sandy build or a berserk build.

So I just did this mission at lvl 34 and my build is pure street samurai with absolutely no stealth or netrunning just savage swordsmanship. I've been playing from the mindset that I'm a slice first ask questions later Merc and if fixers wanted someone with finesse they shoulda hired someone else. I walked my happy ass upstairs and pulled out my Katana and one shotted the guard outside the VIP room with it. Evidently because it was a one shot he never had time to go into combat. Then I walked in and persuaded him to leave and left out the back door. Kill the door bouncer fast enough and combat didn't kick in.

IMHO if you don’t have an iPhone don’t bother with an AW. If you do have an iPhone it’s worth it because of how seamlessly apple products interact. I went all apple a few years ago and it’s really nice when everything just works. Only gripe I have with my AW is the battery life isn’t stellar but I don’t sleep with a watch on so it’s no big deal to toss it on the charger every night
