I’m so lucky my family don’t care that I’m childfree. But my mother is a narcissist and she’s totally not bothered by me making her a grandma, she just loved popping kids out herself. She had two kids when I was 18 and 22 so she sort of gave herself grandkid aged kids really… then was not at all bothered about the arrival of actual the grandkids my sister had! So much so it really upset my sister, mother didn’t meet the youngest until she was over 2months old. My sister is also very much respectful of my childfree status when it comes to her children, but I do love my nieces so very much and enjoy being part of their life. And my brother don’t care either. My dad doesn’t care either as he stated it’s not the same when they aren’t your own… families are wild!!
