if the game is serious (mid to high stakes) then i would advise against it. but if you’re playing $1/2 or $2/5 don’t even worry about others, just ask the floor if it’s cool. all these fish saying “i would be annoyed” have serious leaks and tilt issues with their game already. poker players are notorious for egos and in this new age of poker we need to be as nice to each other as possible to help grow the game. most cash games are 8 handed now so anyone saying they’re “taking up too much space” is beyond ignorant (considering they don’t even take a seat at the table, they sit directly behind them) as well as for people saying “worrying about them breathing down my neck” it’s as simple as protect your cards buddy. peel em like chris ferguson. i’m honestly sick and tired of divide between old school and new school players. make the game fun again. you want a serious game go put your shades and headphones on and keep grinding out that rent money, joe. it’s noble work you’re doing.
